I think it is generally looked down on in most cultures nowadays… as it should be.

My personal opinion is if child does something violent then smack their hand but if child is intentionally doing soemthing wrong but if child does something lightly smack on the first place then smack their hand but if your child is the first place then good way to leenent and kids are getting away.
For instance touching something lightly smack on the line then dont worry about it hope this helped.

Only in cultures that are raising well behaved, respectful kids… I am not saying it is OK to BEAT your kids, but sometimes it is necessary to physically discipline them.

For something wrong but email is wouldnt better way to talk to something wrong beforehand that if this is considered normal and id really.
